Description
Funding programs and organizations that promote health education, disease prevention, and provide direct medical and health services has been, and continues to be the priority of the Foundation’s granting philosophy
Who Can Apply
An organization may be eligible for a grant from the Foundation if:
- it is qualified under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and it is not a private, non-operating foundation (as defined by Section 509(a) of the Code)
or
- if it is a public instrumentality involved in providing services to improve the general health and welfare of the community
Qualifying organizations must provide services in at least one of the following counties: Brunswick, Columbus, Duplin, Pender, or New Hanover. Grants are not made to individuals, or for-profit organizations
