- Digitization or preservation of documents/records
- Preservation of historic items/artifacts
- Restoration, rededication or relocation of existing historical markers
- Cemetery headstone
- Monument conservation
Who Can Apply
501(c)(3) Public Charity organizations
Projects from all eras and chapters of American history are eligible to apply
Additional Eligibility Requirements
Applications for the next round of grants, to be awarded in May 2024, will be accepted August 1 – October 31, 2023. Grant applications must be submitted through our online application portal. The portal will open for applications on August 1, 2023
