Description
Provides funding at the state, local, territorial, and tribal level to support government activities that lead to measurable environmental or public health impacts in communities disproportionately burdened by environmental harm
Who Can Apply
- A state in partnership with a community-based nonprofit organization
- A Tribe in partnership with a community-based nonprofit organization
- A local government in partnership with a community-based nonprofit organization
- US Territories, Freely Associated States, and tribal governments in remote areas
Applications must show successful partnerships with community-based nonprofit organizations (CBOs) and other stakeholders (e.g., local businesses and industry, medical service providers, academia, etc.) to develop solutions that will significantly address disproportionate environmental and public health harms related to pollution and climate change at the state and local level
