The Community Support program responded directly to the needs of destination leaders by providing flexible, on-demand support. This included mural project guidance for community-led placemaking efforts, webinar training on requested topics, training for Destination Leadership Organization Boards, and regional research reports from VisitNC. Additional support included registration sponsorships to three major conferences, all designed to strengthen local capacity and advance community-driven tourism initiatives.
