Are you ready to take your visitor experience to the next level?

Whether you have a new idea, or an existing experience you would like to enhance, join UPLIFT and the Smithsonian Institution as we walk through examples and best practices for developing engaging and memorable visitor experiences. Through hands-on-activities and practical discussions you will develop a roadmap to jumpstart your visitor experience.

The program is split into three components, two 1-hour online workshops covering examples, best practices and the things to think about when developing or enhancing your experience. â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹

As you go through the workshops you will fill out a worksheet that will create your roadmap for developing your visitor experience. The third workshop is a 2-hour in-person workshop where we will work together to brainstorm, discuss and flesh out your visitor experience roadmap even further so that you are ready to take your next steps to jumpstart your visitor experience. Online ‘office hours’ and 1:1 consultations will also be offered after the in-person workshops to provide the opportunity to further discuss and refine your visitor experience.

Who should attend?

Any tourism or recreation business, site or attraction as well as artisans, performers, farmers, historians, naturalists or others looking to diversify their revenue stream through tourism.

What do you get out of it?

A ‘roadmap’ document that outlines your next steps in creating or enhancing your visitor experience as well as a better understanding of what makes a great visitor experience.

How much time and money will you need to commit?

No money - the program is FREE!

Attend two zoom calls (approximately 1-hour each) and an in-person workshop (2-hours). If you desire, you can also meet 1:1 with our team to discuss your project and get additional support.
